Jewellery making instructions
making a single or multi strand necklace with
tigertail

You will need a piece of tigertail the length you
want your necklace to be plus about 6", 2 crimp beads, clasp of your choice and a
selection of beads.

Thread a crimp onto the tigertail, through the loop on your clasp and back through the
crimp.

Push the crimp bead close to the clasp and squeeze the crimp firmly
with flat nosed pliers.

Thread on your beads.

After the last bead thread on another crimp, now thread the end of
your tigertail through the loop on the other end of your clasp, back through the crimp
bead and through a few beads. Now pull the wire until the crimp is close to the clasp and
squeeze the crimp with your pliers. Snip off excess tigertail with wire cutters.

finished!

This necklace is made with 6mm and 4mm hand made glass beads,
rondelles, and size 7/0 iridescent blue metallic seed beads. I have used a trigger clasp
and a necklace end but you can use any clasp you prefer.

Neclaces with multiple strings of beads can be made by using a multi
string clasp or attaching more than one string to a single clasp.
