Jewellery making instructions
Make Earrings

To make simple earrings thread your choice of beads onto a headpin. The first bead should
have a hole small enough not to slip over the pin end. Cut the headpin leaving 1cm, turn
this into a loop using round nosed pliers, don't worry if its a little untidy (practice
makes perfect). Now attatch to your choice of earwire. Make sure all loops are
closed up, you don't want them to fall apart the first time you wear them!

By joining a headpin and an eyepin you can make longer, more dangly earrings.

Earring variations
these are all made using 7/0 gunmetal seed beads, metallic flowers and metal beads

from left to right earrings made with indian glass washers, red
triple dangles use size 8/0 seed beads and rocailles, elegant long dangle with silver size
11/0 and 8/0 seed beads with a lustered glass bead, small dangle made with AB hearts and
11/0 seed beads, and amber long dangles made with tubes, rondelles and 4mm round hand made
glass beads with topaz 8/0 seed beads.

Earring Hoops

These earring dangles are made with earring hoops. One side of the
wire will pull out, thread on some beads, push the wire back in and squeeze with pliers so
it cannot come back out. Now attach to the earring wires of your choice. The example on
the left is made with faceted glass beads, the other one with tiny plastic pearls and
crystal drops.
